Rays Mod v5.7 Patch Notes

Ray’s Mod is a released Roblox sandbox (1 May 2020). The current public line is v5.7 / v5.7.1. This page restates the official description blocks and the v5.7.1 store-scrape notes so a search for “Rays Mod update” does not land on a codes lie. Event extras sit on events. There is no official Trello — the dedicated page is Trello status. The place last updated 14 August 2026. The title still says Clark & Verity; the body still says v5.7. v5.7 (description block still in circulation)

• Added 8 new addons
• Added 6 new community maps
• Added 6 new missions
• Updated the Mech addon
• Added a 50% off gamepass for Mission Point addons
• Added addon testing for Mission Point addons
• Added daily Mission Point rewards with a special Day 7 addon each month
• Some patches on Save n Load

A parallel description wave in the same era also mentioned more community maps, Cops n Crooks NPCs, UGC accessories on UGC playermodels, and the Golden AK-47 now requiring the Target Practice badge.

The same description still prints Physics Gun binds (LMB grab, RMB/G freeze, C/scroll further, X closer, E straighten, R rotate) and the credits: vehicles by SecondLogic, icons by HappyDeppy, plane by Crazyman32. VR remains “planned on being reworked.”

v5.7.1 (store-scrape notes)

Together, those two patches are the store you see now: packs, tests, points, Day 7, PVP off → Angel Mode, undo, and a less cursed Save n Load.

What those bullets mean in play

Store. Stop buying blind. Test. How to get addons is the button path. Addon tiers is the spend path.

Missions and points. Six missions plus a daily track. Day 7 is a monthly exclusive (August 2026: Toy Car). Mission Points has the only wiki video.

Maps. Six (or more, depending on which description wave you read) community tiles. Rank types, not every thumbnail, on map tiers. Use StreamingEnabled when a new tile stutters.

Save n Load. Patched in v5.7. Rebuild old cursed slots. Build guide.

PVP toggle. Off grants Angel Mode. On is a real deathmatch. Do not assume every public server wants it on.

Golden AK-47. Badge-gated after the nerf. Badges.

What did not ship

No promo code box. No official Trello. No finished VR rework. No public Admin Revolver. No promise that unofficial scripts will keep working. If a YouTuber’s “v5.8 leak” is not on this page or the Roblox description, it is a leak in the same way fake codes are codes.

Older notes you may still see in videos (search bar in the spawn menu, vote kick, binoculars and camera, Nextbots “less dumb,” group extras) are from earlier waves. They remain useful. They are not v5.7 headlines.

How we will update this file

When the place description changes a version label, this page moves first. Banner names (Clark and Verity at research time) get a sentence, not a new major version, until the description says otherwise. Day 7 names move on the events page faster than they move here.

If you only needed to know whether to relearn the Physics Gun: you do not. The printed binds did not change. If you only needed to know whether to rebuy addons: check the store. Singles became packs. Your old unlocks should still be owned; the row name may have changed.

That is the patch. Go play the systems it added, or go argue about a letter on the tier list hub. Do not go hunting a Trello card that was never published.
