Rays Mod Tier List Hub
S through C ranks for packs, guns, and maps after v5.7 testing — not a PVP-only ladder.
Rays Mod is a sandbox first. A tier list that only asks “what kills fastest” misses the reason people stay for 295 million visits: building, vehicles, Nextbots, and gamemode maps. This hub splits the ranking into three lists so a Mission Point purchase and a map vote are separate decisions.
Open addon pack tiers before you spend Robux or points. Open weapon tiers when you care about stock guns versus badge weapons versus pack melee. Open map tiers when the server browser is a wall of community thumbnails.
How we rank
S means the item earns its cost in a normal public server (max 25) without extra gamepasses. A means it is excellent in a niche: private PVP, Nextbot chases, or a themed film setup. B is fun after you already own the basics. C is skippable unless you collect everything. We do not use F. A sandbox toy can still be worth a test spawn.
Criteria, in order: spawn menu coverage (how many distinct toys you get), stability after v5.7.1 pack conversion, whether you can test before buying, Mission Point versus Robux friction, and how badly it griefs a public room. A pack that is hilarious in singleplayer and miserable in multiplayer drops a letter.
Badge-gated tools sit in the weapon list, not the pack list. Super Gravity Gun (Keepy Uppy) and Golden AK-47 (Target Practice in Power Surge) cost time, not Robux. Admin Revolver is not ranked for public play because the Admin gamepass locks it to singleplayer and private servers.
What a tier list will not do
It will not tell you there are promo codes. It will not invent a Trello meta. It will not pretend VR is finished — the official description still says VR is planned to be reworked. It will not rank unofficial scripts. God mode is not a tier; it is an account risk. Use the scripts hub if that is the question you actually have.
Ranks move when dreamy™ ships another pack wave. v5.7 added eight addons, six community maps, six missions, a Mech update, Mission Point testing, and the 50% mission gamepass. v5.7.1 added a free addon, pack testing, PVP toggle, spawn undo, and Save n Load-adjacent quality fixes. If a pack you bought last year now lives inside a bundle, check the addons hub before you trust an old screenshot.
How to use the three lists together
A good spend order for a new account: join the group, claim the daily Mission Point, test one citizen vehicle pack and one Nextbot pack, then look at the addon list. Only then open the weapon list to decide whether Golden AK-47 is worth a Power Surge night. Pick a map from the map list that matches that loadout — a tight interior map wastes a military vehicle pack; a huge community airfield wastes a melee-only night.
If two friends are arguing in chat, link the specific child page, not this hub. The hub is the rules. The child pages are the ranks. That split keeps a 25-player vote from turning into a screenshot war about a pack that is no longer sold standalone.
Revisit this hub after a Day 7 exclusive. A Toy Car badge in August 2026 can shuffle the vehicle list for a month and then disappear. Monthly extras are ranked as limited, not as permanent S-tier staples.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Rays Mod questions.
Is this a PVP-only Rays Mod tier list?
No. Sandbox coverage and public-server manners outrank raw damage. PVP notes appear on the weapon list when they matter.
Do ranks include unofficial scripts?
No. Scripts are not a tier. They are unofficial and risky. See the scripts hub.
Which list should I open first?
If you are about to spend, open addon packs. If you are about to vote a map, open maps.
How often do these tiers change?
After pack conversions, Day 7 exclusives, and notes like v5.7 / v5.7.1. Check patch notes when a rank looks stale.
