Rays Mod Guides Hub

This hub is the index for every Rays Mod how-to on the wiki. The game is a free Roblox remake of Garry’s Mod by dreamy™ / RayAurus, live since 1 May 2020 (universe 1707552920, place 4967465336). It is not an upcoming title. You can play online with up to 25 people, stay in singleplayer, or buy a 10 Robux private server. The current line is v5.7 / v5.7.1.

New players usually bounce for one reason: the Physics Gun feels random until the official binds click. Read how to play the first hour next, then keep Physics Gun controls and the controls cheatsheet open. The Tool Gun and spawn menu sit one page over in Tool Gun and spawn menu. Those three pages replace the “mash Q and hope” session.

What each guide is for

How to get addons is the buying and unlocking path: left-side store on the main menu, testable packs, Mission Point listings, group extras, badges, and events. Mission Points farm is the only page with a video. It embeds a real walkthrough on claiming dailies faster and explains the Day 7 monthly exclusive (August 2026: Toy Car badge) plus the 50% OFF MISSION ADDONS gamepass.

Build and Save n Load covers freeze, weld, rope, thrusters, the v5.7 Save n Load patches, and the StreamingEnabled option that keeps large maps from choking a low-end client. Badge unlock guide walks Keepy Uppy (Super Gravity Gun), Target Practice in Power Surge (Golden AK-47), Angel Mode (disable PVP), Balloon Popper, Played for 1 hour, and the older event badges that still grant store extras. How to find maps is the tile picker: sandbox versus Power Surge versus zombie, StreamingEnabled, and how to leave a vote. Play with friends is the 10 Robux private server plus the v5.6 invite that works on unofficial maps. PVP toggle is the v5.7.1 switch and the Angel Mode badge.

Use the guides in that order if you are new. Skip to a single mechanic if you already live in the sandbox and only need one bind or one unlock.

How these pages stay factual

Every guide repeats the same released-game facts: no official promo codes, no Trello, stock tools include Physics Gun, Tool Gun, crowbar, and guns, Admin Revolver needs the Admin gamepass and only works in singleplayer or private servers, vehicles credit SecondLogic, icons credit HappyDeppy, and the plane credits Crazyman32. If a sentence on another site contradicts those facts, this hub is the correction.

Guides also refuse filler. You will not get a 400-word closer copied across pages. Each article ends on the decision that page is supposed to help you make: which server type to pick, which bind to drill, which pack to test, which badge to chase tonight.

Pair guides with hubs, not with random tabs

After a guide, jump to a database instead of searching again. Addon catalogs live under addons. Rankings sit in the tier list hub. Reward channels that people still call “codes” are in the codes hub. Patch context is in v5.7 patch notes. If you are considering unofficial executors, read safer script habits before any loadstring.

Mobile players should still start here. The spawn menu is a Spawn button instead of hold-Q, but grab, freeze, straighten, and rotate still decide whether a base stands. The Physics Gun and Tool Gun guides call out mobile differences instead of pretending everyone has a scroll wheel.
