Rays Mod Weapons and Tools

Weapons in Rays Mod sit in three layers: stock tools, badge-gated guns, and addon packs. This page is the catalog. Rankings live on the weapon tier list. Unlock steps live on how to get addons and the badge guide. Binds for the two tools you will actually live on are Physics Gun and Tool Gun.

There are no weapon promo codes. A script that “gives all guns” is unofficial. Admin Revolver is not a public-server toy.

Stock layer

Every account gets a Physics Gun, a Tool Gun, a crowbar, and a set of guns. That set is enough for Power Surge, Balloon Popper, and a first PVP toggle test. The crowbar is the melee you should try before you buy a melee pack. The stock guns are the ones you should take into Target Practice before you chase Golden AK-47.

Hold Q or tap Spawn, open tools, and confirm you can see those four jobs. If you cannot, you are in a broken instance — rejoin the experience instead of buying a pack.

Badge-gated layer

Super Gravity Gun — Keepy Uppy (five mid-air tosses without touching the ground). White beam, stronger pull, can grab players. Treat it as a physics upgrade, not as a rifle.

Golden AK-47 — Target Practice in Power Surge (destroy every target before time). v5.7-era notes say it was nerfed and badge-locked. It is a flex gun, not a required gun. Stock rifles still finish the same mode.

Angel Mode is a badge, not a gun. It signals PVP off. Do not look for an Angel pistol.

Rarer badge toys such as Nyan Gun appear on some accounts. If the Free Addons panel shows a gun you do not recognize, read the badge text in that panel instead of a random codes article.

Gamepass layer

Admin Revolver requires the Admin gamepass and only works in singleplayer or a 10 Robux private server. Public 25-player rooms will not hand it over. That restriction is the whole point. It is an admin toy, not a ranked PVP weapon. Radio is a speaker, not a gun. The 50% mission pass discounts point addons, not bullets. Details: gamepasses.

Pack layer

Store rows that dump weapons include Pack of Weapon Packs, Melee Pack, Explosives, Useful Tools, Silly Addons (Cat Gun lives in this joke tier: a cat that meows on right-click), and assorted “guys” packs that include themed firearms. v5.7 / v5.7.1 turned many singles into testable packs. Test the pack. Spawn each gun once. If three of five are reskins, skip the purchase.

Explosives are a public-server problem. A pack that is S-tier in singleplayer film work is C-tier in a lobby hunting Day 7 Toy Car. The addon tier list applies a manners penalty for that reason.

Binoculars and a camera were added in an earlier notes wave as utilities. They are not kill tools. Use them on community maps when you are scouting a Save n Load spot.

How to choose a first extra gun

If you like physics, hunt Super Gravity Gun. If you like arenas, hunt Golden AK-47. If you like melee, test Melee Pack after you have swung the crowbar for an hour. If you like explosions, test Explosives in singleplayer only. If you like jokes, test Silly Addons. If you like admin fantasies, buy Admin and stay out of public.

Do not buy a weapon pack because a script thumbnail showed a wall of icons. Those icons are often the give-all dump, not a store SKU. Legal extras still come from the dreamy™ group and events listed on free rewards.

Credits on nearby toys: vehicles by SecondLogic, plane by Crazyman32, icons by HappyDeppy. The guns themselves are a mix of first-party and pack authors.

When you can name which layer a gun belongs to, you are done with this catalog. Go fire it on a map that fits — open sandbox for Physics Gun play, Power Surge for the AK hunt, private for Admin Revolver — and leave the store closed until the next test spawn. The addons hub will still route you to vehicles and NPCs when you want a different pile of toys.
