Rays Mod Badge Guide

Badges in Rays Mod are the free unlock track that is not the dreamy™ group and not Mission Points. Some badges grant tools. Some grant cosmetics. Some only grant the badge icon by HappyDeppy. None of them are promo codes. If a site says “redeem BADGE2020,” close it and use this list.

Check ownership on the main-menu Free Addons / badge panel, then do the task in a live server. Public multiplayer is required for anything that needs a second player. Singleplayer is fine for Keepy Uppy and Balloon Popper. Private (10 Robux, max 25) is the right room for messy tests.

Keepy Uppy → Super Gravity Gun

Toss an object with the gravity gun five times without the object touching the ground. Use a light prop, a short beam, and a flat sandbox map. Count out loud. If it kisses the floor on toss four, you start over. Reward: Super Gravity Gun, the white high-power variant that can grab players. Do not unlock this and immediately throw strangers in a public lobby. Physics Gun basics: Physics Gun controls.

Target Practice → Golden AK-47

Play the Power Surge gamemode. Destroy all targets before time runs out. That is the badge text. A separate Power Surge Winner badge exists for winning a match; it is not the Golden AK-47 gate. v5.7-era notes say the Golden AK-47 was nerfed and now requires Target Practice. Bring a stock gun, learn the arena once, then commit. Map opinions: map tier list. Weapon context: weapons.

Angel Mode → PVP off

v5.7.1 added a PVP toggle. Disable PVP. The badge Angel Mode is the thank-you. Use it when you want a build room. It does not replace Save n Load. It does not unlock Admin Revolver. It does not grant Mission Points.

Balloon Popper

Pop 250 balloons in one server. Equip the Tool Gun, spawn balloons from the spawn menu, and shoot them with a gun. Explosives often do not count. Do not hop servers at 249. This is a patience badge, not a skill badge. Tool Gun notes: Tool Gun.

Played for 1 hour

Stay in the same server for one hour. Rejoining resets the clock. Build something. Claim a Mission Point. Do not AFK in a way that the client parks you. Reward on many accounts is a cosmetic such as SynthWave. Treat the cosmetic as a bonus; the real prize is an hour of Physics Gun time.

Look both ways, Prop Gunner, Prop Gunned

Look both ways: get run over by another player’s vehicle. You need a driver. Ask in chat or sit in a driveway. Prop Gunner: fire a prop at someone with the gravity gun. Prop Gunned: be the target. These three are social badges. They are easier in a consenting private server than in a PVP-on public room that will shoot you first.

Survived 10 minutes and other gamemode badges

Survive ten minutes on the zombie survival map (older notes name a therm_zombie_survival-style place). Do not AFK in the open. A small doorway welded shut is the usual cheese; some clients still fail to award the badge after a clean ten, which is a known complaint. Power Surge Winner is the other mode badge worth tracking if you already hunt Target Practice.

Rarer rows such as Nyan Gun and monthly extras such as August 2026’s Toy Car (Day 7 Mission exclusive) appear on the same panel when they are live. Toy Car is documented with points on Mission Points and events.

What badges will not give you

They will not give Admin Revolver (Admin gamepass, singleplayer/private only). They will not give Radio skins (Radio gamepass). They will not give a Trello. They will not give official codes. Group extras still require the dreamy™ group. Pack catalogs still live on addons.

A script that “grants all badges” is unofficial and can cost the account. This page will not list that as a method. If you already own the tools, you do not need the badge for gameplay — but the store may still check the badge for Golden AK-47 and Super Gravity Gun.

Hunt one badge per session. Keepy Uppy first if you want a better gun. Target Practice second if you like arenas. Angel Mode whenever you build. Everything else is completionism. When you finish a hunt, go back to making a save, not to opening another tab of fake codes. The guides hub will still be there for the next mechanic.
